James Bacon founded Bacon's in 1978

James started with a vision for himself and his children that through hard work, determination, a can-do attitude and a little luck, a viable business could be built, provide jobs and help keep the environment clean. Back then, our only assets were hard work and a desire to succeed.

Today, we have over 33,000 square feet of working and warehouse space.

Bacon's Foreign Car Parts is an American success story. Starting from humble beginnings, on leased land, working nights and weekends, the company has evolved from a traditional "junkyard" into an automotive recycling center. We dismantle over 800 cars annually and have an available inventory of over 2,000 cars and trucks--that's more cars than the parking garage at the FedEx forum when it is full!

We also support and contribute to area businesses through our banking, wrecker services, insurance, office supplies, uniform providers, equipment sales and repair services, building contractors, food and fuel suppliers and many more.

Bacon's is proud to be able to have a positive impact in and around the local community.

Services

Our Process

  • Bacon's has pioneered the dismantling of cars using hydraulic inside lifts, air tools and a complete fluid containment system. Parts are warehoused using a rack system with every part being tagged by type and location for easy retrieval.

  • Fluids, batteries and tires are disposed of in accordance with Federal and State regulations using only EPA approved companies.

  • All parts are indexed in our Hollander inventory system, giving us fast, interchangeable part matches to get our customers what they need quickly and accurately.
